About

Hi! I'm Neemo! I've created this website to showcase my various artistic projects. A little about me. I graduated High School from Rosedale Heights School of the Arts in Toronto, and I'm currently getting my Bachelor of Media Studies at UBC Okanagan in Kelowna. You may notice themes of environmentalism, sports, and queer identity appearing in my work. Good observation! These are all things I'm passionate about, and as I wrap them into my art, I hope they capture your interest too.

Media

I'm interested in incorporating a wide range of media into my practice, and so far I've created photos, animations, and books. I even made this website from scratch, in the age of prefabs and templates. Within each of these categories I've explored multiple nuances. My photography is both digital and analog, and I've used a variety of darkroom printing techniques. I've explored digital 2D and 3D animations, as well as making a short stop motion film. I currently have two books in production, one being a fully illustrated childrens book, and one being a young adult novel. While these are the media I've chosen to specialize in, I believe that I've yet to scratch the surface of their potential.

Goals

As I grow my artistic practice, there are a number of avenues I'd like to explore. Eventually, I'd like to tie together all of my skills to create a fully fledged video game. Before this is possible, I hope to explore different elements of digital drawing, as well as exploring my programming capabilities.
