WHATS THE STORY?

I was the perfect age to fall in love with the mascots for Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, and for the games themselves to light a fire in me. Although I did not end up becoming an Olympic athlete, I maintained the love for sport I gained in 2010. Olympic Dreams aims to recapture the sense of wonder I experienced using the "Miga" character and crafted environments to mimic childs play.

I shot these photos with a digital camera, and printed them at 11x17" for exhibition. The images you see here are the digital files, after minor editing to remove dust and blemishes. This series was my first attempt at miniature photography, and later inspired my book Angus' Outfit.
